A simple yet elegant charcuterie board designed for two, featuring a balanced mix of cheeses, meats, olives, dried fruit, nuts, and fresh fruit. Ready in 15 minutes with no cooking required, it’s the perfect no-stress date night meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ounces aged cheddar cheese
  • 3 ounces brie cheese
  • 3 ounces prosciutto
  • 3 ounces salami
  • 1/4 cup mixed olives
  • 1/4 cup cornichons or pickled vegetables
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 small baguette or crackers
  • Fresh grapes or apple slices
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take the cheese out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving.
  2. Wash and dry your fruit.
  3. Slice the cheese into thin slices or cubes; leave brie whole or cut into wedges.
  4. Arrange the meats by folding prosciutto into ribbons and rolling salami slices.
  5. Spoon olives and cornichons into small bowls and place on the board.
  6. Scatter dried apricots and almonds in small clusters around the board.
  7. Place fresh grapes or apple slices in a small bunch or fan them out.
  8. Drizzle honey into a small bowl or directly over brie.
  9. Fill in gaps with baguette slices or crackers.
  10. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, let cheese come to room temperature. Use small bowls for wet ingredients to prevent sogginess. Prep dry ingredients up to 4 hours in advance; add crackers and fresh fruit just before serving. For a vegetarian version, skip meat and double the cheese, adding marinated artichoke hearts or roasted red peppers.
