This creamy, tangy, and spicy buffalo chicken dip features a fun spiderweb design that makes it perfect for game day. It’s quick to make, uses simple ingredients, and is always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon buffalo sauce (for spiderweb effect)
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, crumbled blue cheese, fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to your pie dish or baking dish. Spread it out evenly with your spatula.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  5. Drizzle the extra tablespoon of buffalo sauce in a small circle in the center of the dip. Using a toothpick or skewer, drag lines outward from the center to the edges, then drag lines from the edges back toward the center, slightly offset, to create a spiderweb pattern.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is lightly golden brown.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a deeper golden top, switch to broil for the last 2 minutes, but watch closely. You can assemble the dip (without the spiderweb topping) up to 24 hours in advance. If baking from cold, add 5-10 minutes to the baking time.
