A sophisticated yet effortless charcuterie board designed for two people, requiring minimal preparation time and simple ingredients to create a luxurious snacking experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3–4 slices hard salami (preferably peppered)
  • 2–3 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1 small wheel or wedges of Brie or Camembert
  • 2–3 cubes aged cheddar or gouda
  • Small amount of blue cheese crumbles
  • 6–8 water crackers and seeded crackers
  • Small handful of green or kalamata olives
  • Fresh grapes or sliced figs
  • Small pile of walnuts or almonds

Instructions

  1. Wipe down the serving board or platter with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  2. Place the Brie or Camembert in the center or slightly off-center to anchor the board.
  3. Arrange cubes of hard cheese (cheddar or gouda) around the soft cheese, giving each space.
  4. Fold salami and prosciutto loosely to create volume and place them next to the cheeses.
  5. Place crackers in clusters or fan them out, filling in empty spaces.
  6. Scatter olives, nuts, and fruit in small piles or individual spots.
  7. Add final touches such as extra crackers or a drizzle of honey if desired.
  8. Serve immediately after assembly.

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature for 15 minutes before serving to enhance flavor. Assemble right before serving to prevent crackers from getting soggy. Leave negative space on the board for a cleaner look. Pair with crisp white wine or light beer.
