Crisp apple slices drizzled with warm peanut butter, topped with chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut for a quick, crowd-pleasing snack that’s ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (mini preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts or almonds
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Cut into thin rounds, about 1/4-inch thick, removing seeds and core. You should get about 20-24 slices.
  2. Arrange apple slices in a single layer on a large plate or board, overlapping slightly if needed.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and coconut oil. Stir constantly until smooth and warm, about 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until pourable.
  4. Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture over the apple slices in a back-and-forth motion, creating ribbons.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and shredded coconut evenly over the apples. Finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  6. Serve immediately while apples are crisp and drizzle is warm.

Notes

For best results, use cold apples straight from the fridge. If making ahead, prep apple slices and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning; keep drizzle and toppings separate until serving. Toast nuts for extra crunch. Do not slice apples too thin (1/4-inch is ideal).
