These easy 3-ingredient holiday appetizers combine flaky puff pastry, creamy brie cheese, and tart cranberry sauce for a quick, elegant, and crowd-pleasing treat perfect for Thanksgiving or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 14 ounces can chunky cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll thawed puff pastry sheets onto a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into 4 large squares, then cut each square diagonally twice to create 8 triangles per sheet (16 total).
  3. Cut Brie cheese into small cubes. If soft, freeze for 10 minutes to firm up.
  4. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce onto the wide base of each triangle.
  5. Roll each triangle from the pointy end towards the base, wrapping around the filling. Pinch the end firmly to seal.
  6. Place bites seam-side down on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 1 inch of space between each.
  7. Optional: Brush tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Keep pastry cold until baking to ensure proper rising. Do not overfill to prevent bursting. Can be assembled and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. Reheat in oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes; avoid microwave to prevent sogginess.
